Lothar was raised by the barbarians of the now lost city of Halas. Many winters have passed and many of his barbarian allies have since been slain by the fierce gnolls invading from Blackburrow. As a froglok he was looked down on until one day he bested the queen of Permafrost, Vox. Defeating her proved that this smaller, more brittle froglok had a heart of mythril and was a worthy ally for even the fiercest barbarians.
