A Cavernous Conundrum: A Shadowed Coil

I am unsure what this coil comes from, it is shadowed and yet almost seems as if it is still living. This broken off piece feels as though it could reform itself into another full creature if given time. I feel oddly compelled to find out more about it, while on the dark side of this moon.

My curiosity drives me to seek out more about the mysteries of the dark side of Luclin.
Though warnings echo in my head, I want to discover the origins of this shadowed coil. (in Echo Caverns)
