Restoration of the Lamentation - Quest

December 3, 2024 -- Census is back after a 3 day outage and characters are once again exporting. Please note if your EQ2 character used the new Petamorph Key Ring feature, it will FAIL to export to Census or EQ2U. Avoid using this feature until a fix is available!!

As a drastic measure, if you are willing to irrevocably destroy any petamorph wands you have stored in the Petamorph Key Ring, you can type /delete_keyring_item 0 1234567890 where 1234567890 is the ItemID of the stored petamorph.

I have obtained the Lamentation of the Intrepid, but it is not as powerful as it once was. It seems to have lost its planar energies, and I should quest to restore this power to it so that it achieves its maximum potential.

I need to return to Ashe Boderra for advice regarding how to restore the saber to its full power.

I need to defeat Pawbuster to obtain the Diamond Grit Whetstone.

I need to defeat Mayong Mistmoore to obtain Vedel's Song of Awakening.

I need to defeat any of the manifestations of Mayong Mistmoore. (in Mistmoore Inner Sanctum)

I need to use Vedel's Song of Awakening to imbue the Diamond Grit Whetstone.

I need to combine the Diamond Grit Whetstone with Vedel's Song. (in Mistmoore Inner Sanctum)

I need to defeat Xygoz the dragon to obtain the Golden Refrain.

I need to defeat Xygoz. (in Veeshan's Peak)

I need to use the Golden Refrain with the Humming Whetstone.

I need to return to Taria Truomen with the Humming Whetstone.
