I've found an odd object - some leather and chain mail embedded into a wooden plank. It appears to be a type of ceremonial shoulder decoration that has somehow become fused with the wooden plank itself. I'll need to find a way to remove the wood without destroying the armor.

With a little effort, I believe I can extract the armor from within this wooden plank.
