How to become a EQ2U Scholar (Patreon)
December 3, 2024 -- Census is back after a 3 day outage and characters are once again exporting. Please note if your EQ2 character used the new Petamorph Key Ring feature, it will FAIL to export to Census or EQ2U. Avoid using this feature until a fix is available!!
As a drastic measure, if you are willing to irrevocably destroy any petamorph wands you have stored in the Petamorph Key Ring, you can type /delete_keyring_item 0 1234567890 where 1234567890 is the ItemID of the stored petamorph.
Developers are aware of this issue, but you can always post your respectful feedback in the
Census isn't updating for some toons
 thread.

The soft shell eggs are a result of griffin eating too much of the basilisk meat from the carcasses left behind in Howling Pass. I have been asked to remove the carcasses and to place some griffin repelling incense along the pass to prevent most of them from eating the harmful meat.
I should remove any carcasses I find and set down the griffin repelling incense at the marked locations.
Remove icegaze basilisk carcasses, in Howling Pass (in Eastern Wastes)
Place down a griffin repelling incense (in Eastern Wastes)
Place down a griffin repelling incense (in Eastern Wastes)
Place down a griffin repelling incense (in Eastern Wastes)
Place down a griffin repelling incense (in Eastern Wastes)
Return to Carpus on the mountain top at the northern end of Howling Pass.
Return to Carpus (in Eastern Wastes)
Rewards

At least 6,346 XP.
