In a place called Whisperling Scarp I found an ancient fountain and beside it a stack of scrolled letters that appear to have belonged to a pair of lovers. They describe how their love was torn asunder when they accidentally wondered across the forbidden bridge into the Desolate Grounds. They fought bravely but were killed by a being that wonders there called a detritus. I shall avenge these lovers for no other reason than to honor such beautifully written letters of kindness and affection.
