After speaking with Drinal's Steward, I found that Ethernere is malleable - it is not a constant plane like Norrath, but something that can be bent and shaped according to the viewer. However, the nature of the plane also can make it vulnerable. I found out more about this when I worked with a member of the Harrowing Horde, a Gehein named Zeeil. I found through my adventures that a piece of the essence of the God of War, Rallos Zek, found its way into Ethernere, and ultimately unbalanced the plane. I was able to drive back the essence of Rallos, but the Steward informed me that another powerful entity had already transformed part of Ethernere, and encouraged me to see the changes for myself. I am to seek out a creature named Gulthga, in an area he said was called the Fearcreep.
