Preceptor Nyjuss has informed me that he's learned of a plan crafted by Freeport traitors loyal to the Ebon Mask to spring Opal Darkbriar from her cell. It seems that she has some valuable information that she must get to Queen Cristanos Thex. I must find her and kill her before she can get to the Queen. I must travel to the Darklight Wood and kill Opal Darkbriar.
Return to the Preceptor and inform him of my success. He will be interested in seeing the note I found on the body of Opal as well. Return to Preceptor Nyjuss and show him the note. Preceptor Nyjuss has informed me that Opal Darkbriar was working for Mayong Mistmoore through the Drachnid Queen, but had been planning on selling some information about the Fang of Ichor to Queen Cristanos Thex as well. It seems as though she was really trying to make herself a hefty coin purse. If the Drachnid Queen has any information, she must be slain. Word of the recent finding of the Fang of Ichor cannot spread. Kill the Drachnid Queen. (in The Tomb of Thuuga) I should return to the Preceptor and give him the tablet I found on the corpse of the Drachnid Queen. I should now return to Preceptor Nyjuss. Preceptor Nyjuss has told me that the tablet I've brought to him told of another way to empower the weapon. It says that the heart of a great underwater beast must be collected from the deep. I should travel to Chelsith and slay the Leviathan, collecting its heart in the process. I must collect the heart of the Leviathan. (in The Chamber of Destiny)
I've slain the Leviathan creature and claimed its blackened heart as it is written on the tablet I brought to Preceptor Nyjuss. I should return to the Preceptor with the heart of the Leviathan. Preceptor Nyjuss says the tablet reads that a soul must be taken from one of the 'children of the first' and they must be slain with the Fang of Ichor. When this creature is slain, the blackened heart will act as a catalyst to draw the soul into the weapon. He was VERY clear in telling me that the heart of the Leviathan MUST be held in my other hand when I attempt to take the soul. Slay Druushk with the Fang of Ichor. Keep the heart in your other hand. (in Veeshan's Peak) I should take the empowered Fang of Ichor back to Preceptor Nyjuss. I should now return to Preceptor Nyjuss.
