Librarian Aemeli has been patient and helpful in explaining some of the history of the Plane of Knowledge to me, including the Absence; the mysterious event that left Myrist the only physical location left standing within the plane.

Due to the suddenness of both the Isolation and the Absence, Myrist gained some citizens who had never intended to remain. Their ashes have been respectfully housed in the Memorial of the Wayward, on the Myrist Mezzanine.
