The Jeweler's Mystery - Quest

December 3, 2024 -- Census is back after a 3 day outage and characters are once again exporting. Please note if your EQ2 character used the new Petamorph Key Ring feature, it will FAIL to export to Census or EQ2U. Avoid using this feature until a fix is available!!

As a drastic measure, if you are willing to irrevocably destroy any petamorph wands you have stored in the Petamorph Key Ring, you can type /delete_keyring_item 0 1234567890 where 1234567890 is the ItemID of the stored petamorph.

The Jeweler's Mystery

Kun Augren at the House of Augren in the Village of Shin has a mystery on his hands. Someone is challenging him to create a perfect pearl bracelet, however he does not know who has issued this challenge or for what purpose. As there are tensions between the three families in Shin, he hesitates to confront anyone from the Nurwin or Ventur families to see if this is a joke. I'll serve as a go-between for him and speak with them myself.

By locating and interviewing members of the Nurwin and Ventur families, I should be able to determine who issued the challenge to Kun Augren.

I need to speak with Kim Nurwin, the first person that Kun Augren suspects may be involved in the challenge he received. (in The Village of Shin)

Kim Nurwin suggested her brother Choo might know who has challenged Kun Augren. (in The Village of Shin)

Choo Nurwin gave me the name of Ping Ventur as someone who has played jokes on the Augrens in the past. Perhaps he is behind the challenge to Kun Augren? (in The Village of Shin)

Ghil Ventur is traveling in Antonica and may know something of the challenge to Kun Augren. I will interview him at my next opportunity.

Antonica is a big place, but I shall check whether anyone near the Antonican docks remembers seeing Ghil Ventur pass through. (in Antonica)

I've spoken with various members of the Nurwin and Ventur families. They did not know the identity of Kun Augren's challenger. Xin-xu, the leader of the House of Augren may hold the answer.
