Ascension Assistance - Quest

December 3, 2024 -- Census is back after a 3 day outage and characters are once again exporting. Please note if your EQ2 character used the new Petamorph Key Ring feature, it will FAIL to export to Census or EQ2U. Avoid using this feature until a fix is available!!

As a drastic measure, if you are willing to irrevocably destroy any petamorph wands you have stored in the Petamorph Key Ring, you can type /delete_keyring_item 0 1234567890 where 1234567890 is the ItemID of the stored petamorph.

I've agreed to let Duskrender talk me into redeeming myself in Drinal's eyes by recovering some lujien relic called the Horn of Ancient Howls. I can only guess what he will have me do with this horn once retrieved.

I need to find a way to destroy the stone shrine to Drinal. Perhaps someone in camp may know how. I should probably ask a non-lujien, though; someone prone to be less testy.

Find a way to destroy the shrine (in Obol Plains)

Obtain a leaf from an obol dreadleaf (in Obol Plains)

Return to Hildan (in Obol Plains)

Capture fire from a lamp in camp (in Obol Plains)

Duskrender believes Drinal will ascend a second time, with the help of myself, a mortal, by blowing this horn while standing upon it. I can't let that happen.

Throw the vial of flames onto the shrine (in Obol Plains)

Throw the Horn of Ancient Howls onto the burning shrine (in Obol Plains)

Drinal will have no second ascension with the Horn of Ancient Howls destroyed. I should confront Duskrender about this.

Return to Duskrender (in Obol Plains)
