A Broken Predicament - Quest

June 19, 2024 -- The new Anashti Sul server on the 2006 "Origins" EQ2 ruleset is now live. Sadly, there are no plans for it to support Census.

I found a workshop chest, but it is locked. I found the key, but it is broken. But hope remains, maybe I can find a way to make a copy of the key and claim whatever treasure rests within the chest.

I need to explore this floor and see if I can find a way to craft a duplicate of the broken key.

Find a way to craft a workshop chest key.

I need to acquire components and a specific tool needed to craft a workshop chest key. They must be found in the workshop.

Hunt for the strips of bronze needed.

Hunt for the key shaping tool on a task leader.

Now that I have the components and primary tool, I should seek out a workbench that I can perform the labor on.

Find a workbench to perform key crafting on.

Craft the duplicate key.

I should go and try this duplicate key out on the workshop chest.

Try and open the workshop chest.
